Q22: Does Production Wizard have any jobs going?
Q1. I wish to apply for a Job but cannot see the full information even though I am logged in. What am I doing wrong?
A: You aren't doing anything wrong. Production Wizard is set up so that you can only see the full job listing if your service(s) and location(s) match those of the job request. For instance, if there were a job requesting a DV Camera Operator in London you would need to have this service added under the 'Your Services' tab. You would not be able to apply for the job if you were only registered as a Camera Operator. The Location field for this service would also need to cover London, i.e. specify London, UK, Europe or the World.
If you follow these steps and log in you will see the job listed on your home page with a button that will allow you to see the job details which will then allow you to provide the Booker with your quote.
Q2: If I place a job request do I have to pay?
A: No, the system is free to anyone placing a project request. It also free for any Supplier to quote for a project.
Q3: I didn't receive an activation email.
A: Please be patient as email traffic can sometimes take a few minutes to get through. If you still haven't received your activation email check your spam filter; our emails sometimes end up in there. If you still haven't got the email contact support@productionwizard.com. You should also add alerts@productionwizard.com to your safe senders list (see below).
Q4: How do I add alerts@productionwizard.com to my safe senders list?
A: Internet service providers, e-mail services and IT departments all work hard to protect you from all horrible spam, yet this means sometimes e-mails you actually want get lost too. Put alerts@productionwizard.com in your 'safe sender' list. You may also want to put the domain productionwizard.com in the list.

Q5: What other steps should I take to ensure I receive Production Wizard emails?
Your anti-spam software
Anti-spam software - if you have anti spam software running on your machine such as Norton or Spam Assassin, add our e-mail address alerts@productionwizard.com and our domain productionwizard.com to the safe sender list.
Your IT Department or ISP (internet service provider)
If you are still struggling, the chances are your IT department or your ISP is blocking our email before it even gets near your machine. Please advise us, your ISP and IT department to allow e-mails to come through to you from alerts@productionwizard.com and from our IP address 213.165.83.62. This is called 'whitelisting'. If you aren't getting the e-mail, thousands of other Production Wizard users will be missing out too, so please make the effort.
If all else fails get a new e-mail address
If all else fails, get a new e-mail address, we recommend gmail, as it offers big storage and so far we've had no complaints from gmail users that they don't receive the e-mail.
Q6: Can I upload my CV?
A: No, we decided early on when creating Production Wizard that we didn't want to add this functionality. As a Supplier, use the description field for a brief but compelling round up of your specific genre experience, skills and industry recognition. When receiving your quote a booker can click through to your profile and view this description as well as any links to show reels, so make sure you have good links to the best work that you have done to back up this summary. Show reels can be added once registered and logged in under 'your profile'.
Q7: How do I edit my profile?
A: You can edit the following at any time
- Name
- Address
- Company name
- Company Website
- Telephone number
- Mobile number
- E-mail address
Simply login and select Your Profile from the menu bar and then click on the 'Edit' button.
Once you have completed your amendments, click on 'Save & Continue'. You will then need to confirm the changes you have made before they become live.

A: Your username is the email address you used to register. If you have forgotten your password click the 'forgotten password' link (top right) on the Production Wizard home page, and it will be mailed to you.
Q9: Can I delete my account?
A: No, you will need to contact support@productionwizard.com and we will delete it for you. However, if you just wish to suspend your account and stop receiving email alerts temporarily then this can be done through the Your Profile tab whilst logged on; click on edit and untick the 'Job Alerts' box.
