Meet the Team

Tim Knatchbull, Co-Founder

Tim joined with former BBC colleagues to start development of Production Wizard. His background is in broadcasting, with a 20 year track record in television production and strategic alliances, and he has been involved in media private equity since 1994. A Cambridge trained economist with a management degree from Harvard, his early career in television and film production included spells with Australias Channel 7 in Sydney, where he worked on the pilot episode of Home and Away; independent producers for the UKs Channel 4 and Frances FR3; and Warner Brothers 1988 blockbuster Memphis Belle.

The next 7 years were with BBC Television in London on programmes such as Breakfast News, Thats Life! and Crimewatch. In 1999 he moved to Washington DC to join Discovery Channel. As Director of Development and Programme Partnerships for Discoverys Digital Networks, he helped roll out 7 new channels across the USA.

From 1994 he was non executive director of private equity fund Knatchbull Communications whose investments included film distributor Artificial Eye (a JV with cinema chain Curzon) and technology leader He has also recently published an internationally acclaimed book.

Max Moore, Consultant

Max started working with Production Wizard in April 2012 after a 13 year stint in digital advertising where he cemented a phenomenal track record building Web Search, Video and Display advertising businesses from the ground up, through to successful exits. Max started his digital career in 1999 at where he was part of the founding management team that pioneered paid search in Europe. Most recently at AdJug where Max was responsible for the Distribution & Business Development side of the Online Ad Trading platform, he is start-up veteran, passionate about digital technologies and a natural visionary.

Tom O'Leary, Head of Product Development

Joining Production Wizard in October 2010, Tom continues his career of over 9 years in online businesses spanning ecommerce channel management, operations, product development, and sales. Originally from Australia, Tom oversaw the re-launch of Allans Music Group’s e-commerce channel, guiding the development of the new website, building the team, and developing both operational and logistical processes for a region-wide fulfilment system (Australia and S.E. Asia). Tom oversaw sales growth of over 400% following the re-launch. After arriving in the UK, before joining Production Wizard, Tom worked as a consultant specialising in social and new media solutions.

At Production Wizard, Tom manages the connection between Production Wizard’s website and service users to our guidance and development teams designing new functionality across the platform. Tom project manages current development work, as well as managing key relationships across the super-indie portfolio, including All3Media, Endemol, and Zokiak group companies.

David Constable, Head of Development and Marketing

David has worked in media publishing and journalism since achieving his Masters Degree in ‘Modern and Contemporary Writing’. He studied in both the UK and USA on scholarships and prior to joining Production Wizard, worked for Broadcast magazine and luxury publishing company Gloria Books.

During his time at Production Wizard, David has been responsible for the advertising and marketing output as well as the continual development of the website; taking the company from its successful launch phase to managing staged enhancements and helping establish new company associations with the likes of Shine, All3Media, Endemol and ITV Studios, as well as a portfolio of independent production houses. He is responsible for the company’s media presence through the creation and maintenance of social media, newsletters, press releases and industry events.
